Charles Burton

Charlie Burton is the 5th Generation owner of the i.g. Burton Auto Dealerships located in Milford and Seaford Delaware.  Graduate of Roanoke College ,  Charlie initially did not work in the family business. He pursued career in the automotive finance and insurance business working for Ryan Associates for a number of years. One day Charlie got a call asking him to come back and run the family business.  For the last 25 years he has been running the operations taking it from a small family business to the successful organization it is today. What he is proud of them most is his employees. "It's a great feeling knowing you give your employees the opportunities to develop and grow and be successful."

MJ Lofland
Vice President / COO

MJ Lofland has been with the i.g. Burton auto group since 1995. He has held the positions of Director of First Impressions, Sales Professional, Salesperson(earning salesperson of the year in 1997 and 1998) getting promoted to sales manager in 1999. From there he has progressed to General Manager in 2003 and in 2007 a member of the Operations Management Team as Director of Sales and Finance and now the Vice President/COO over all i.g. Burton locations. In his spare time he enjoys hunting here on the Delmarva peninsula and spending time with his family and daughter Elise. MJ resides in Milford. To quote MJ "Nobody beats a Burton Deal....Nobody!"

Executive Manager

Lisa started her automotive career in 1999 working at a private repair shop in Wilmington, DE. She wore many hats at that job….receptionist, car washer, parts person and customer service representative. This is where her love for the automotive business began. After a few years, she applied for a job at the local dealership and started as the service receptionist before working to be a service advisor. Next stop was Service Manager of the BMW franchise. Her love for all things outdoors drew her to the Delaware beach area. She moved in 2008 and started with i.g. Burton as the BMW service manager, a job she truly loved. After working at i.g. Burton for over a decade, she earned the opportunity to be part of the Executive Management team. When away from the dealership, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brad and daughters Kayla and Talia. Together they love to travel, camp, paddleboard and play with their two dogs.

Bernadette Jasmine
Executive Manager

Bernadette Jasmine joined i.g. Burton Auto Group in July of 2019 as part of the Executive Management Team. She is currently the acting HR Director. Bernadette brings ten years of experience in the automotive industry previously working for General Motors as a District Manager. In another life, Bernadette served as the Town Clerk for Mountain Village and ran a day care center in Rico - both in Colorado. She lives in Lewes with her husband Jeff, her son Jakob and their dog, Bobby. They enjoy family time on the beach, fishing and kayaking.

Greg Gilmore
Service Director - Imports

Greg has been in the car business since 1996. he has held many positions in the car business, parts delivery driver, Warranty Administrator, Service Advisor, Service Manager, and Service Director. When he is not working, Greg enjoys time with his four children, and 4 grandchildren.

I started with i.g. Burton Auto Group in 2007. I have help multiple positions, including service porter, parts advisor, parts manager, import parts director, and now parts director for all i.g. Burton locations. i.g Burton is a great company to work for and has helped grow my love for the automotive industry. In my spare time I Enjoy spending time on Delaware beaches with friends and family, visiting local breweries, and spending time with my dog.



Rick Astarita
General Manager

Rick started selling cars in 1983 in Baltimore, Md. He has over 33 years of automotive experience the last 16 years with Mercedes Benz. Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors as much as possible.

Pete Palmer
General Sales Manager

Pete has been a Mercedes enthusiast since the mid 80's when he bought his first Benz. He has been involved with Mercedes sales for over 20 years, The last 15 managing at i.g. Burton. Pete lives in Seaford with his wife, 2dogs and 2 cats. He enjoys boating on the Nanticoke and classical choral music.

Mike Webb
Finance Manager

Mike started with i.g Burton 11 years ago working his way up through the ranks from Business Development Advisor, to Sales, and now to Finance Manager. Mike is a Milford local who was raised on the water. He enjoys fishing, hunting and anything involving his wife and son.



John Gilmer
Client Advisor

John has been selling Mercedes-Benz vehicles since 1998, starting with HBL Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Aston Martin in Tysons Corner, VA, then moving to EuroMotorCars Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce, Bentley in Bethesda, MD, and ending up here at i.g. Burton Mercedes-Benz after moving to Camden-Wyoming, DE in 2008. John says he has made many friends in the automotive business and plans to make many more. He prides himself on making shopping for and purchasing a Mercedes a pleasant experience for all of his customers.
