How to Pass A Bicyclist the Right Way

Bicyclists have every right to use the road just like cars do. However, due to their slow speed, drivers will need to go around them to keep the flow of traffic smooth. We want you to stay safe wherever you go, so here's some information on how to pass a bicyclist safely.

You should slow down the moment you spot a bicyclist. It's also a good idea to look out for any others you didn't see. As you approach to go around, there should be at least three feet of space between your car and the bike. If you can't go around, the bicyclist has the right of way. They're allowed to use up the entire lane. You'll just have to wait for an opening and change lanes to go around.
