Taking Badges Off of Your Car

When you buy a vehicle, there may be one or more badges on it. These badges generally display the brand or trim level of the vehicle that you are driving. They can be removed to protect your privacy or to make the car or truck look nicer.

The first step in the process is to soften the badge adhesive using hot water or heat from a hair dryer. The next step is to cut, wedge or scrape it off using floss, a card or other small tools that you have available. Finally, be sure to gently wipe any remaining adhesive after the badge has been removed from your vehicle.
